When you use The Paintball Network ("TPN"), we collect:

• Account information: Name, email, username, phone number, city, state
• Profile information: Avatar, player bio, gear details, stats, payment info you choose to share
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps
• Content you post: Messages, reviews, photos, team information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the platform
• Manage your account and team memberships
• Send notifications about team activity, events, and messages
• Process payments and financial transactions
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Your team: Team members can see your profile, roster information, and team-related activity
• Public profiles: Your display name, team affiliation, and player stats may be visible on public team pages
• Payment processors: Stripe processes payments on our behalf
• Video calling provider: When you make a video call, Daily.co processes the live audio and video to connect the call. See Section 10.
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure connections (HTTPS), and secure password storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View your personal data through your profile settings
• Update: Modify your information at any time
• Delete: Request account deletion through the Delete Account page
• Data portability: Request a copy of your data by contacting us

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

TPN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us immediately.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 7 business days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

9. Third-Party Services (Sub-Processors)

TPN uses the following third-party service providers to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — file and data storage, including video-call recordings
• Daily.co — video-call connectivity (live audio and video, and the recording service). Recordings are delivered to storage that we control (see Section 10).

10. Video Calling and Recordings

TPN offers video calling between members. If you use this feature, the following applies:

• Calls are recorded. Every video call is recorded automatically. The recording cannot be turned off by participants during the call. You are shown a notice that the call is being recorded before you join, and joining a call constitutes your acknowledgment of the recording.
• How recordings are stored. Recordings are stored in encrypted, private storage that we control. They are not public, are not sold, and are not shared except as described here.
• How long we keep them. Recordings are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days, unless a recording must be retained longer for a safety or legal investigation.
• Who can view a recording. Access is limited to the people who were on the call, the parent or legal guardian of any participant under 18 who was on the call, and designated safeguarding administrators reviewing a report of harm. Every access is logged.
• Minors. Members under 13 cannot use video calling. Members aged 13–17 can use it only after a verified parent or guardian has given consent that specifically covers both video calling and recording. A parent or guardian may withdraw that consent at any time, which stops further calls and prompts deletion of that minor’s recordings (subject to any active safety or legal hold).
• Consent to be recorded. Some jurisdictions require all parties to consent to being recorded. By starting or joining a recorded call, you consent to being recorded. If you do not consent, decline the call.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
