Short answer: On the chat page, click New Group, give it a
name, pick the teammates you want, and submit. You're the owner — use
the gear icon at the top of the room to add or remove members later.

Step-by-step (web)

1. Open Chat from your team dashboard.
2. Click the gold New Group button at the top of the page (icon:
   group of people).
3. In the modal:
   - Enter a Group Name (e.g. Saturday Squad).
   - Browse teammates grouped by role. Use the search box to
   narrow down. Tick the people you want to invite.
   - You can also create the group with no one and invite people
   later.
4. Click Create Group.
5. You're dropped into the new room.

Step-by-step (mobile)

1. Open the Chat tab.
2. Tap + NEW PRIVATE GROUP at the top.
3. Same as web — name the group, pick teammates, create.

Managing the group (owners)

Open the room and tap the gear icon at the top:

• Add teammates to the group at any time.
• Remove someone if they leave the squad.
• Archive the group when you're done with it (the room
  disappears from active list; it can be unarchived).

Leaving a group (non-owners)

• Web: leave button at the top of the room.
• Mobile: tap the leave icon at the top. One tap and you're out.
  Other members see a "[name] left the chat" notice.

Notes / gotchas

• 10-group cap per team per person. You can own up to 10 active
  group chats on a given team. The New Private Group modal shows
  your current count vs the cap. Archive old groups to free a slot.
• Team owners can see — but not read — your group. On the chat
  management page, team owners see a Member Group badge for
  groups players created (with the creator's name), but cannot read
  the conversation. They can archive a group if needed (e.g. if
  someone reports it).
• Pinned messages, scroll-back history, image thumbnails all
  work the same as in regular chats — see FAQ-to-be-written about
  pinning if you need a refresher.
